Our solutions architects work on our own digital platforms as well as partnering with our customers to bring new visions to reality. We get to know our customers’ needs and then create scalable architectures that enable new services and new business models.
We steer ambitious tech projects from inception to maturity, driven by a passion to invent solutions that simplify the way our customers shop. Our goal is to deliver results and blaze a trail for new tech.
Broad responsibilities include: owning the technical support and in its way, help to reach the ultimate success around specific implementation projects, and developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.
Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
– Serve as a key member of the program development team helping to ensure customer success in building applications and services on the AWS platform.
– Suggest the scope of customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
– Support each engagement, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value.
– Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community.
– Understand the AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
– Understand and exploit the use of internal Amazon systems.
I was able to secure this job after my internship with the company, which I earned with the knowledge gained during my cloud architecture and web application programming courses in the MIS program.
