Solutions Architect Intern
I was a Solutions Architect Intern at Amazon Web Services in Seattle, WA this summer. As part of the internship program, I achieved my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification and worked on a BI Dashboard project for customer analytics across AWS’s Greenfield division.
I learned about the role and career progression of a Solutions Architect at AWS. I also explored the various types of architectures possible on AWS and learned diagramming tools such as draw.io, and I coded in Python for the first time. I saw the Well-Architected Framework I first learned about in my Cloud Architecture course being applied in real life in addition to other applications for AWS Lambda. I had first used AWS Lambda in that same Cloud Architecture class and Web Service Programming, and implemented it once again in my internship project.
