Problem Statement: There is currently a gap between small businesses and IT, specifically application-driven ordering and delivery systems. Small mom and pop markets are not able to provide an efficient delivery system that can compete with larger businesses that offer these services.

Mini supermarkets that do offer delivery services for customers undergo a redundant delivery process and are not technologically equipped to fulfill in-store purchase deliveries efficiently. The inaccuracy between the transfer of information causes longer wait times and unsatisfied customers. There have been too often reports of inefficiency due to the process.

 

Opportunity: We will create an easy-to-use, scalable app that will allow mini supermarkets to compete with larger grocery store chains that will allow customers to order online and have their items delivered to their doorstep.

For customers that still prefer a generic in-store shopping experience but prefer delivery, we will create a dashboard that will track and send delivery information to the supermarket driver. The dashboard will keep track of how many bags there are, what register and cashier processed the order, and which driver delivered the order.
