- My mentor was Dinesh Desai the Executive Chairman and Founder of Emtec. I communicated with him through his secretary Vicky to plan meeting times to meet with him. I had the opportunity to meet with him twice through Zoom on Nov. 2, 2020 and Dec. 16, 2020.
- During our zoom session I was able to get not only advice about real life work environment, but also got the chance to hear his personally stories/struggles of how he got to the position he is now. Also, I got the chance to learn how to communicate with others more and how important it is to keep asking questions and to try hard and to surround myself with the right people, too.
- The mentorship program helped me look more into possible career goals, like not to just settle with what I’m studying now. Also, how I can always keep learning and attend more schooling if I want to expand my career options.
