Helping Shift A Business Online
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, my sister sold various arts and crafts products. Her main method of selling the products was through craft shows and art events. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, craft shows quickly halted as gatherings were canceled. She stopped selling her art until I helped her shift her business to a fully online model. My goal was to allow her to restart her small business by showing her how to sell on various sites such as Facebook Marketplace, Etsy and Ebay. It turned out to be a success, as I showed her how to use these resources as a seller. In the process, I, myself, learned new things about these sites. I also learned how to be patient in teaching someone a brand new method to conduct business.
