- Job function (e.g., overall role, assigned tasks)
- My overall job function was to support the SharePoint and Web Technologies team where I was an IT Corporate Functions Intern. I was assigned with many tasks including creating SharePoint sites, data validation and entry, business analysis, and creating infographics.
- Examples of projects (e.g., list the projects you worked on and what you accomplished)
- Developed a SharePoint Knowledge Base site for use by 2700+ users to train department teams across the organization about SharePoint functionalities such as Document Libraries, Workflows, Permissions, and Lists
- Created promotional materials to support SharePoint migration, adoption, and training efforts such as SharePoint infographics and a getting started guide
- Led the creation of an inventory of all public websites affiliated with Endo by interviewing relevant stakeholders and compiling the information gathered into a collaborative web resource that provides oversight and transparency to the web community of Endo
- Participated in SharePoint 2010/2013 to Office 365 Online migration planning

- What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this internship in the context of specific courses).
- This internship aligned with my MIS major because I got exposure to working in the IT Corporate world. I used the coding skills I learned in Data-Centric Application Development and applied it to my SharePoint projects when creating sites. I also applied the advanced Excel skills I gained in Data Analytics to analyze and hold the data. Most importantly, I learned how to leverage technology into a business to add value to an organization.
