AIS Mentorship Program
Being a part of the mentorship program provided by the Temple AIS department has allowed me to be in a more confident state regarding the major overall. I was paired up with a senior student who was in a similar position to myself only a year ago. My mentee and I would work weekly on certain problem areas I had within my courses and grant me access to resources and answers to questions I had. The program outlined itself had designated meeting times weekly to help lead growth and increase participation within the major. Here I learned the importance of joining the AIS club at Temple and the multitude of ways to enhance my experience as an AIS major. Overall, participating in this program has allowed me to utilize my resources and get additional help in addition to my professors.
