Details of the activity: Hosted at the Vanguard headquarters in Malvern, this two day event (04/21-04/22) was a chance for attendees to network and discover career opportunities. Speakers from various companies speak on relevant topics in the tech industry such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and FinTech.
What I learned: I learned that the top coding language that most employers are looking for is Python. I also learned about the differences in methodology between Agile and waterfall.
How the Activity Related to Coursework or Career Goals: This opportunity gave me the change to network with possible future employers and learn from them what they are looking for in employees.
