- Information Systems in Organizations: I learned to identify and analyze organizational systems and processes using techniques including conceptual diagramming, process decomposition, and data modeling.
- Data Analytics– I learned to analyze data how to present insights from business data. I also learned how to operate and manage a database system using a structured query language (SQL) and RStudio.
- Data Centric Application Development: I learned to develop web-based data-centric applications using high level programming languages such as, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I also have a basic understanding of Bootstrap and APIs .
- UI/UX Design: In this class I’ve learned about user interface and user experience design. The goal of the class is to redesign a website using Norman’s concepts.
- Enterprise IT Architecture: The primary focus of this course was designing cloud-based systems and deploy applications using Microsoft Azure. I also practiced running programs using Node.js
- Digital Solutions Studio: I served as a business analyst on a 6-person team to implement a community platform for LawAtlas, a policy surveillance website.
- Data Science: I used Tableau to manipulate and transform data into meaningful information and knowledge.
- Application Integration & Evaluation: I used concepts of application integration to develop data driven software applications.
