Who I am
I am an Accountant and a Financial Analyst. I was trained five years in school to read, understand, calculate, create and audit the financial statements. I studied to comprehend market securities, analyze market trends and build investment portfolio. My theoretical knowledge was put into practice and expanded through three six-month internships in the fields of IT Compliance, Forensic Accounting and External Audit.
I am, however, an Auditor at heart. Being an enthusiastic and skilled jigsaw puzzle player, I am attracted to and approach the Audit practice in the same way as playing this game. I observe, analyze and examine the items that come across in my audit work and draw connections between them. I chose the master program in IT Audit and Cyber Security to further my interest in Audit and extend my area of expertise.
While I often read financial statements and IT concepts, I am an art admirer and love to be inspired by performance arts. I am also passionate with helping students in their professional development. I actively participated in event planning for a business student organization in undergraduate.
