Excel and Power BI: Integrating for Business Intelligence
This amazing course created by Madecraft and instructed by Tom Themeles focused on learning how to use Excel and Power BI together effectively to clean data, build models, and present insights in a more efficient yet scalable way. A key takeaway was understanding how to use Power Query in Excel to automate data cleaning and preparation, which is something I definitely will apply to both coursework and professional future work. I also learned how to connect Excel data with Power BI datasets, build models using fact and lookup tables which improved my view on business intelligence workflows. What I learned will be very valuable in future roles related to data analytics, MIS and business intelligence.
