Coursework
This semester, I am taking MIS 2502 in concurrence with MIS 3501. In these classes, I have learned a great deal about how data is structured within an organization, and how to utilize information technology to create applications. The work that I have done in 2502, or Data Analytics, pertains to my interest in a data related career. Through our work with SQL, I’ve learned how to input schemas into databases and retrieve information. Additionally, I have learned how to design entity relationship diagrams and how to link tables together using primary and foreign keys. Overall, this class has greatly improved my understanding of data.
In 3501, or Data-Centric Application Development, I’ve learned a lot about different coding languages and how they work together to structure, and operate websites. This class has proven to be especially helpful for me. Now, I can think of a concept for an application, and have the resources to complete it.
