Hobbies and Interests
Running is my new found passion! I started running in 2011 and haven’t stopped since. 
It started out with a small goal of running a 5k race, which turned into running many races including a 5k, 10k, half marathon, and hopefully soon my first full marathon. Running reminds me of how important it is to put time and hard work into the different tasks that are thrown my way. I’ve been running anywhere from 20-60miles a week, and in doing so have become better than I could have ever imagined.
My love for running introduced me to another one of my interests, fundraising. At the Bucks County Half Marathon in 2013, I met a local organization called the Autism Cares
Foundation. The ACF is a local nonprofit that helps children with autism, by providing them with different actives and workshops such as sensory friendly movies, bounce time at Bounce U, and iPad workshops. Every event offered to the kids is covered through their fundraising and from the help of others. The Autism Cares Foundation hosts an annual race, in which I have formed a team called TeamPuzzlePiece. TeamPuzzlePiece raises money through collections as well as hosting fundraisers with all the money raised going to the ACF.
