AIS Mentorship Program Fall 2018
This semester, I joined the AIS SPO for the first time as a new freshman. AIS allowed me to get actively involved with the types of things that MIS majors do in the workforce. I really liked the professional speakers who came to Temple and spoke to AIS about their type of jobs and some of the different IT, cyber-security, and overall tech related positions that might be good fits for us students in the future.
I really loved the different membership tracks that the program provided, as this opened up ways to get involved and explore even more to the SPO, including office visits to companies, and development workshop days. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience AIS gave me this first semester and I am looking forward to becoming more involved in what they have to offer going forward.
