Our company can generate a $1.85 million benefit over a three year period by investing on Microsoft SharePoint. SharePoint is a software that can be used for storing, organizing, sharing and accessing information for many kinds of devices. Implementing Microsoft SharePoint will enable our PMPs to eliminate our backlog of work and increase their billable hours, ultimately increasing our revenue.
Microsoft SharePoint is a web-based collaboration and document management platform which can help us improve our organization’s effectiveness. With SharePoint, all the information is stored in real time and synchronizes for people who have access, so PMPs can manage, track and organize essential documents easily and quickly. Instead of having multiple versions of the same document, PMPs will be able to use SharePoint and work on a single document that is updated to the latest version. In addition, PMPs can upload and share valuable information with each other on the SharePoint workspace. SharePoint is the best tool to help our organization improve productivity and increase billable hours of PMPs.
Investing in Microsoft SharePoint will bring us $20 million in benefits over a three-year period. Over the same period, the cost of purchasing of SharePoint and annual maintenance is $154,000, which means we will increase our revenue by $1,846,250. For these reasons, I believe SharePoint is the best solution for eliminating our backlog of work and generating revenue.
