Wyoming Electronics implemented a barcode system for their fiber optic equipment, adding a unique barcode for each product to improve inventory management and tracking. Handheld scanners were used to track product movement within the warehouse and update inventory levels in real-time. The barcode system improved accuracy, reduced effort, and generated reports on inventory, sales, and trends, contributing to the company’s efficiency and growth.
The barcode system automated inventory management, reduced human error, and provided real-time updates on inventory levels and locations through handheld scanners and an inventory management system. Additionally, the system generated reports on inventory, sales, and trends that provided valuable insights for forecasting and decision-making.
