The main goal of cloud computing is that all of those services are run on a single data center without having other organizations to build its own data centers.

For example, Netflix uses EC2 instances with lower-power processors and uses CloudFront to deliver content efficiently (Cloudzero, 2021). Additionally, Netflix uses various security features provided by AWS, such as IAM and Security Groups, to secure its cloud infrastructure and data (Cloudzero, 2021). Lastly, by shifting the business toward cloud infrastructure, Netflix reduces the carbon footprint by not having any physical datacenters that were not use to the maximum capacity.

By optimizing cloud resources and securing cloud infrastructure and data, organizations can reduce their environmental impact and protect themselves from cyber threats.
