    Company: Wawa
Positive: We talked to the boss. 488 Retweets and we’ll keep #Schwarberfest going. 🔥🔥🔥 (Positive since it conveys the positive message of an extension to a discount/promotion)
Negative: Each time they get a hit, take a bite of your hoagie! #Schwarberfest (Negative sentiment since the Phillies did not score a single hit in the game)
Difficult to classify: Hearts out to all those who moved away from a Wawa (Not sure if it is a positive/negative comment)

    Discussing Rules for Determining Sentiment:

Lexical Approach: Words have inherent positive or negative connotations. A dictionary of sentiment-laden words helps determine the sentiment based on their presence.
Contextual Valence: Words may change sentiment based on context. For instance, ‘sick’ in a healthcare context is negative, but in casual slang, it can be positive.
Modifiers and Intensifiers: Adverbs and adjectives can modify sentiment strength. “Extremely good” is more positive than just “good”.
Negations: Phrases like “not good” reverse the sentiment of the word “good”.

    Addressing Difficulty in Categorization:

Sarcasm and Irony: These can completely invert the sentiment implied by the words used.
Mixed Messages: A single message may contain both positive and negative sentiments, making it hard to categorize.
Cultural References and Jargon: Words or phrases that carry specific meaning within a culture or group may not have clear sentiment without additional context.
