I think this is a bad example because it seems very cluttered and it is hard to understand what the chart is trying to tell the viewers.

This is good example because it is clean and concise. The animation adds more detail.

    https://www.visualcapitalist.com/visualizing-25-years-of-lithium-production-by-country/
I think this example isn’t very good. It is very hard to detect which piece of the graph belongs to each country such as Zimbabwe and Portugal

https://www.visualcapitalist.com/cp/charted-u-s-egg-prices-more-than-double-in-2022/ – this is not a good representation of data because while it is visually appealing, it should have more data labels (BAD Example)
https://www.visualcapitalist.com/sp/ranked-harmful-tariffs-by-economy/ – this is a good example due to the simplicity of data counts as well as the scale equality in each data label (GOOD Example)

This infographic is done very well because it gets the point across in simple but attractive way. It is also easy to read and understand.

    https://www.visualcapitalist.com/visualizing-the-scale-of-global-fossil-fuel-production/
This one is the bad example because I do not see the importance of comparing heights with amount of production in global fossil fuels.

    Good Graphic: https://www.visualcapitalist.com/top-50-most-visited-websites/
I think this is a good graphic because it is very easy to read and scan on which websites or visited the most among everything on the web. It can be seen as a little confusing just from first glance but the scan of each site is not difficult at all and quite easy to interpret. Organized in a way of bigger to smaller circles.

    Bad Graphic: https://www.visualcapitalist.com/periodic-table-commodity-returns-2022/

This is very cluttered and so many different colors as well as numbers all over the place. Just not pleasing to the eyes at all.

I like how the websites that had more visits had bigger circles and it gave a numerical value to show how many visit there were. I also liked how they separated the websites into categories and color.

    Bad: https://www.visualcapitalist.com/cp/mapping-worlds-forests-how-green-is-our-globe/
I feel like it just looked like any picture you can get off of google, I think if they added some numbers it would have gotten their point across better.

This is a good example of data visualization because of the key given to the audience, we are able to count how many Grammys the person or people has conveniently. Instead of representing Byonce with 38 awards they have 6 big awards that represent 5 Grammys each an d2 smaller awards to represent 1 each. It also simply and creative

    https://www.visualcapitalist.com/cp/ranked-whos-won-the-most-grammy-awards/

This is a good example that shows how more valuable/popular streaming apps are to listeners but as far as numbers goes it is not. If we wanted to compare the numbers between one app and another in percentages, it would be harder to look at because of how there are individual pie charts as opposed to one, which would show a bigger difference between the apps.

    good example : https://www.visualcapitalist.com/top-50-most-visited-websites/
it uses the size of the circle to show the magnitude of the company wich is really easy to understand.

    bad example: https://www.visualcapitalist.com/cp/population-density-patterns-countries/
this is really hard to look because of the colors are quite the same and plus we are not able to see the relationship between the cities in France .

    Good Example:
    https://www.visualcapitalist.com/covid-19-vaccine-cost-eu-versus-us/
This is a good example of a data visualization because the chart is laid out and clearly shows the difference in vaccine prices between two countries. You can see the different companies, the different countries, and each cost.

    Bad Example:
    https://www.visualcapitalist.com/mapped-which-countries-have-the-highest-inflation/
I think that this map is a poor example of data visualization because there is too much going on and there are too many numbers associated with each country that it is hard to focus on one country. A list in numerical order from smallest to largest (or vice versa) would be a more viable solution for this data.
