We’ll be using Tableau Desktop a lot during this course. You can get a full copy of the software – PC or Mac – for free!
To get a free copy of Tableau Desktop:
- Download Tableau Desktop here
- Make sure you select “Download Tableau Desktop. We will be using Tableau Desktop not Tableau Prep!
- When prompted, enter your school email address for Business E-mail and enter the name of your school for Organization.
- Activate it with your product key that I provided you on Canvas. Follow the links on Canvas to see your product key.
Tableau’s site has a series of quick start guides and video-based training. If you want to do something that we don’t cover in class, check there.
