Assignments
The course includes two Learn IT! assignments and seven Max Labs assignments. As described in Course Structure…Grading and policies, these are all graded on a Pass-High/Pass/Fail scale.
Coming up, you will complete a series of three assignments known as Max Labs. All three assignments will have you utilizing the same software – Salesforce. Each assignment will walk you through completing various tasks and processes in Salesforce, and you’ll be asked to take screenshots to show your work.
In the past, students have sometimes had trouble with assignments that ask them to use a new technology. So, to help you all complete these assignments, a team of Information Technology Assistants (upperclassmen MIS students) will be running Max Lab Help Desk sessions in the weeks leading up to the submission date of each assignment.
Sessions will be held in either Alter 602 or 603, all five days of the week, at various times. Two ITA’s will be on hand during each session. The ITA’s will not be leading any sort of instruction… they will simply be there to any questions or difficulties that you have as you arise.
Many of you will find you are able to complete the assignments on your own without any difficulty, and that is great. But, if you want to attempt the assignment somewhere you know there is a person on hand who can answer any potential questions, then come to one of the many help desk sessions.
