To start, Business Intelligence is the strategies, procedures and technologies companies use to analyze their data and information about their business. When companies analyze their data they are looking at their processes and how they are affecting other processes in addition to how effective their processes are. They also use the data to help come to conclusions about their performance, why their performance is at the level that it is at right now and to help predict future outcomes as well. This helps companies appropriately take actions for future plans and to make their business better while also learning from their mistakes and actions they capitalized on as well.
