Talk about the important acronyms, including SDLC, API, ERP, UX
SDLC: Software Development Life Cycle is referred to as SDLC. High-quality software is designed, developed, and tested using this approach, which is utilized by software development teams. Planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance are some of the steps that the SDLC includes.
API: The application Programming Interface is referred to as API. It is a collection of procedures, instruments, and conventions for creating software programs. APIs outline the interactions and communications that should take place between software components.
ERP: Enterprise resource planning is known as ERP. It is a piece of software that businesses utilize to run their daily operations. ERP systems combine numerous corporate processes into a single system, including finance, human resources, supply chain management, and inventory management.
UX: User Experience is referred to as UX. It describes the whole interaction between a user and a product or service. UX design involves creating goods and services that are user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and satisfy user needs.
Hi Yi-Lun, thanks for your post! I think the acronym I still have the most trouble with is APi. I know that APIs facilitate communications between software components, but it is so difficult to visualize what a software component actually is. I think the easiest one to understand is UX. It makes sense to me that there would be an entire field dedicated to making products/services easier for the layperson to use, I think Apple has an incredible UX team, because their products are incredible intuitive and easy to use. I find Microsoft to be a little lacking in that area. I wish Excel were as simple as Numbers (but that Numbers had all the capabilities of Excel, of course).
