Digital identity is one’s personal digital presence. My personal digital identity consists of social media(accounts like twitter, facebook, and tiktok), Linkedin, and online accounts on shopping web browsers. There are many ways our online presence can be tracked. It is something employers also look at so it is important to be mindful of what we are posting and engaging in. The MIS community platform is where students are able to network and collaborate with shared professional interests. Students can share ideas and information with each other on their shared interests and even gain more knowledge on said interest or in their profession. An E-Portfolio is able to provide evidence of professional or educational achievements in order to showcase one’s abilities. It also can be used as employment documentation like a resume during job searches.

Lisbeth, you did a good job explaining digital identity. After using this site for so long, I somehow forget that this is the perfect example of an E-Portfolio as well as a good networking tool. I like that you provided examples of what is included in your digital identity and the importance of being careful about what you post.
