Loops in JavaScript are used to repeatedly input data without actually manually writing it or using a copy and paste method. In coding, we may need to use the same lines of data tenth or hundredth of times. While writing code by hand is possible and even copying it is doable, I think what this chapter in our book trains us for is the future. When we get more comfortable coding, we probably will use huge lines of same codes and loops will help us and make everything easier. During such cases, loops are our best friends. According to our textbook, there are three types of loops in JavaScript: for loops, while loops, and do…while loops. A for loop is more common, and it runs your code until it returns false as you coded. While loop runs code until another expression returns false. As for the do…while loops, it is guaranteed to run at least once before you get false return. The difference between while loop and do…while loop is that while loop never executes if it has a false return.

Levan,
I think that you did a great job of explaining why we would use loops. I like that you used the information we read within the textbook to develop your post. You provided a simple breakdown of each type of loop which helped me make sure that I understood it correctly too.
Hello Levan,
Great post, I agree. I think that what we learned now will help save us so much time in the future. Creating loops in JavaScript allows us to save time when doing code and makes it easy for us to change something along the way. I think you explained all three of the different types of loops perfectly. For loops, while loops, and do …while loops they create loops but can run the program differently. That is important to know when you try to create your own loops. Loops are important because they continue to run if the conditions are met, it’s also important that we make sure our loops are error free. For certain loops like do …while loops the program will make a run to ensure everything is working properly if it is not, it will not run the program. Overall, I think you did a great job of describing the three different loops we use in JavaScript.
Hi Levan,
Loops definitely are our best friends when it comes to coding. Th amount of time saved alone is so valuable, and it just makes the code so much cleaner. We definitely are training for a future that center technology, so it’s advantageous to have the ability to code.
