Project 2 Due August 5th

Project 2 is due August 5th by the end of the day. You must follow the directions to submit the assignment in a word document to the Owlbox email address.  No late assignments accepted!

If you hit a dead end in the system, I suggest you request a new username by emailing me.

There is  a video posted  that follows the first tutorial step by step. Suggest you watch the video as working through the tutorial.

Class Grades Posted for the 1st half of the Class

The Gradebook has been updated. You will find your grades posted for Project 1, Project 3 Phase 1 and Quiz average for the first half of the class.  Please check your grades ASAP. Several of you have not posted your Project 3 blog site address on the bottom of my Project 3 page as required. Suggest you do that ASAP, as now it is considered late. You can see the format and how your classmates have posted at the bottom of this page.

Mid-term July 17th on Blackboard in the TECH Center

The MIS 2101 Summer 2 Mid-term exam will take place in The TECH Center on Thursday, July 17th from 4:40pm until 6:30pm

We will be in the Yellow Zone Computer Area, which is in Zone B (Back Lab Area).

There will be signs in place as you enter the Main Lounge Area, pointing you to the first set of Yellow Zone Double Doors to enter into the assigned area.

WE WILL NOT BE MEETING IN OUR NORMAL CLASS LOCATION – Go right to the TECH Center.

Week of July 13th

1. Quizzes for Chapter 5 and 6 are due by 4:40pm on Tuesday July 15th.

2. Project 1 is due by via email to my owlbox address by the end of the day on July 15th. Check Project1 link on the left for submission directions.

3. The Mid-term is Thursday July 17th during regular class time. It will consist of 40 quiz like questions that you must complete with in 1 hour. It will be administered via blackboard in the TECH Center Computer Lab.

4. After the Mid-term, suggest you start working on Project 3 (E-portfolio) and Project 2.

 

Welcome to MIS2101 Summer 2

Welcome Class.  I am Prof. Latko, the director of the Computer Recycling Center at Temple U  http:// crc.temple.edu, as well as an adjunct professor for Marketing and MIS in the Fox School of Business. Over the next week I will be updating the class material on this website to get us set up for a fast moving Summer 2 version of MIS2101.  Look forward to meeting all of you next Tuesday evening.
