Hello all!
I’ll start class today by returning your ICA to you and discussing some of the answers I saw there.
Then we’ll begin the “SQL Advanced” slide deck.
On Wednesday we will work on ICA #3 and you will need MySQL Workbench for that.

Please also recall that Assignment 1 (announced this past Friday) is due Monday 2/6, at 11:59 PM.

If you are stuck installing MySQL Workbench … there are senior MIS students at the MIS Helpdesk For Coding who can help you.
To get help from them, please see the following:
Hello everyone,
I’ll start our next class with a *very* quick summary of the slides we didn’t get through last time. I will not go over each of those remaining slides in detail, but I encourage you to do so and reach out to me with any questions!
Most of our time will be spent working on the in-class activity. I think this is a more effective way to learn the material (e.g. we learn best by doing, not by watching PowerPoint slides!)
Please come to class with MySQL Workbench installed and have your laptops out and ready to go when class begins.
