Course description
Explore concepts related to process thinking & management, project management, and sourcing of information-technology initiatives. Students will be able to apply knowledge of key principles related to technology-enabled business transformation and process-centric organizational change.
Course Objectives
1) Change Leadership:
– Develop an understanding of process thinking and key management strategies that support IT-enabled business transformation.
– Learn how to plan, manage, and lead business change.
2) Traditional IT Project Management:
– Understanding initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects in the context of topics such as scope, resources, timing, cost, quality, and sourcing options.
– Learn how to monitor project plans and communicate status reports to stakeholders.
