It has been a rewarding experience working with Amtrak on my hybrid internship. I am constantly getting the chance to work with a bright and varied group of people to improve the learning management system’s workflow procedures. I am also able to learn more about how to ensure data integrity and compliance as I have been responsible for performing daily quality assurance and UAT for learning modules. While exploring the possibility of continuing the internship part-time next semester, ongoing discussions are in place, and I am optimistic about the potential for a continued collaboration with the company and the same team.
My experience working at Cencora has been overall rewarding as I was able to practice my skills in a thriving work environment. I engaged in many projects where I honed my Excel and problem-solving skills to address any issues in the system. Additionally, I closely collaborated with two members on the Master Control eQMS team to improve the processes for Cencora’s Master Control user database. The plans ahead are to continue working part-time until near the end of spring and possibly return for a second summer rotation in 2024.
My intern experience at Apple has been positive. I have never worked in a PM Supply Chain role and I have learned the intricacies of end-to-end system development. I still have another month left in this internship so a full-time offer is still in the air but if given the opportunity, I would consider. I collaborated with several teams to derive system requirements, scaling analytics, and onboarding training. I also worked with another intern regarding system analytics. The response to my work at Apple has been constructive and I would be excited to see the development of the work I have contributed to thus far in a full-time role.
My experience working at Eli Lilly has been great as I have gained more experience in working with Excel and learning new systems like Quality Docs and Trackwise. Also, from this internship, I had the opportunity to assist in an internal audit just recently which was a new experience for me, I was the scribe and wrote down everything that was being discussed. From this internship, I have also gained a mentor, my manager who has given me a lot of good advice, both career and personal. I will continue to work part-time at Eli Lilly until July 2024.
Working at Power Home Remodeling as a Business Technology Intern has been very rewarding. I learned so many technical skills and gained experience in the industry and corporate world. Because I interned as a rising Junior, I want to gain new experience so I will not be returning to PHRG this summer. Instead, I will be interning at Kyndryl as a mainframe architect. Despite not returning this summer, I made great professional relationships that will last well into the future. I would love to return as a full-time employee post-graduation. This internship was a great experience for me, and I was grateful for the opportunity.
