All over the experience was rewarding. I felt like I learned a lot about SWE, and full-stack development using AI. Personally, I did not like the communciation between the CEO and I. I initially reached out to him in February and followed up, but he did not respond to me, even after I followed up. I emailed him again in May, and then he responded, but he would delay responding or onboarding me. The first call I had was a client meeting, which is sort of intimidating, especially as I had no scope or idea of what the project was.
Although it was a great technical experience, I would like to go on another track. I was recently offered a position focusing around project management, process improvement, and risk management. I accepted the offer and will pursue it. I still am grateful for this internship experience!

Overall, the experience has been positive. My initial internship ran from May through August, and I stayed on part-time during this semester to continue my learning and training in the company’s operations. I will continue part time work through the spring semester, and I am hopeful to receive a full-time offer once I graduate in May.

Overall I had a good experience. While my role wasn’t as technical, I learned a lot of soft skills and how to work with people on projects while under pressure. I was also able to gain mentors and form genuine connections with great people. Aside from my corporate experience, I had the opportunity to meet other interns who I’ve become great friends with and will be living as roommates with next summer. I start my full-time role as a project manager this July, and I’m ready to make the most out of this endeavor.

Overall, it was a great experience. I got to work closely with my team; it was easy to learn since my team only consisted of 5-6 people. I started this internship in May, working full-time, and have been working part-time since the semester began. I will continue to build upon my skills next semester, and I am excited to see if any opportunities will open up for me after graduation. I am grateful for the experience and skills I learned.

My 12-week internship was a good learning experience. I had the opportunity to work in the Information Systems department as an IT Project Manager intern. This experience gave me the chance to explore behind-the-scenes technology that keeps healthcare and hospitals running. During my internship, I had the opportunity to gain exposure to many different aspects of project management. The community at Main Line Health was welcoming and made my internship a great learning experience. I will not be returning to work here, but I’m walking away with new skills and insights.
