For this week assignment you will be completing the following:
- Installing IIS on Server 2015; Note IIS is a Web Server
- Installing ASP.Net framework on IIS Server
- Verifying that ASP.NET is installed : Take a screen shot: Step 3 in the instructions given
- Viewing the port on your Default Website
- View the pool used to run the Default Website
- Running ASP.NET Application
- Defining and researching what is ASP.net and what are some alternative to ASP.net

Week 11 Activity: Hands on Requirement
- Activity: Install IIS Web Services/IIS 8.0 Using ASP.net
- Auditing IIS Web Server
- Install Visual Studio 2015

- Using the labs from last week or Microsoft Download center download and install Visual Studio
- Specify the Web Server for Web Projects in Visual Studio
Week 11 Activity: What is required to be submitted
What you will be submitting via a MS word document.
- A screen shot verifying that ASP.net is installed
- Answer the following questions
- How many application pools do you have?
- What port is automatically assigned to the default Web Page
- Define what is ASP.net
- List some alternatives to ASP.net
- If you had a choice would you use ASP.net or an alternative; based on your answer explain why?
- If you Installed IIS, what steps would you take to ensure the server is secure and also monitored? List at least 2 to 3 steps
- Take a screen shot of the wwwroot directory to show that the sample example.zip is extracted
- Take a screen shot of http://localhost/example35 and paste it to your MS word document
- Save the file and upload it as Week11Activity.doc

Discuss difference between a Web Development, Web Application and a Web Server. List at least three Web Applications and state why it is important to audit or monitor its usage.
