Microsoft wants to continue working with Trump on Cyber Security

November 11, 2018 by Sev Shirozian 1 Comment

What I find very interesting about this article is how cyber security is one of the thing we deal with in our lives that is not pro democrat or pro republican, but is something that either party can make a priority regardless of who’s the president.  Now it’s time to work with Trump on initiatives to safe guard our country our citizens and even the rest of the world from bad actors and malicious intent.

Lets hope standards that protect consumers is what comes from these meetings. Consumers need a fair amount of influence when it comes to their IoS devices and DIY network security. Awareness for securing these areas within the personal space is out of control. Last week a story was posted where 44% of homes in the US don’t even change their default passwords for their home networks. I ca’t belive I am saying this but I think we do need a governing body to step in and solve this. Hopefully it will be in new standards for how things are released/sold to the consumer.
