Coursework
I’ve taken three courses that are directly related to my aspirations for a successful future career. My MIS courses Digital Systems, Data and Analytics, and Web Application Development have allowed me to develop a passion for analytics and the technical aspect of the MIS degree.
MIS 2101: I learned about the role of information systems and digital platforms in the business sector throughout my MIS Digital Systems course. I gained knowledge of how products are secured and deployed, as well as an overview of software architectures and APIs.
MIS 2502: NoSQL databases were introduced to me during my MIS Data and Analytics course. I was able to extract data from large sets of data and load it for data cleaning by the end of the course. As a data analyst, data validation and cleansing is a process that will play a major role in my career path. Checking the quality and accuracy of data is critical during a data analytics project. To be a good analyst, I have to embody good technical skills. Being well-versed with programming languages and databases will allow me to successfully analyze, organize, and collect big data.
