- Business Intern for the IT Blueprint and Estimation team at Highmark Health
- Assist the Blueprint and Estimation team during the rebranding of HMHS to enGen. Work with Business Architects to manage technical needs and create High Level Estimates as well as submit Technology Acquisition Requests.
- I was made the Business Architect of my own project called P2P. P2p is an application used by HealthNow users that was being used over two domains, HealthNow and Highmark. It was cumbersome for HealthNow employees to switch between domains while accessing the application, therefore they requested to switch over completely to the Highmark domain. It was my job to attend the intake call and work with the Vendors and VDI team to get P2P on new floating VDI instances. I also updated all the the Technology Acquisition Process documents to reflect the new enGen brand. I also utilized Planview to create and update a SharePoint site regarding the status of other Business Architects’ projects. I also shadowed another B&E Architect on my team in implementing MongoDB Atlas SaaS for his client.
- I used my knowledge of the cloud to work with the VDI team in putting P2P on VDI instances. My knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases from Data and Analytics helped me understand the MongoDB Atlas SaaS project and allowed me help my colleagues write-up the High Level Estimate and work with the IT teams.
