Volunteer/Teacher

Volunteering at Aqsa Academy, a place that holds significant personal meaning as both a school and a mosque from my upbringing, has been an enriching experience. Over the spring semester, I had the privilege to engage with students in grades 6 to 8, guiding them through the fundamentals of HTML and Java programming languages.

With a blend of passion for teaching and a desire to inspire, I shared insights into my own academic journey, offering glimpses into the possibilities that lie ahead. By intertwining lessons on coding with discussions about my chosen major, I aimed to ignite curiosity and ambition within each student, planting seeds of aspiration that may one day lead them down similar paths.

In fostering an environment of learning and exploration, I witnessed the growth of young minds as they grasped new concepts and discovered their own potential. Each session was not just about imparting technical skills but also about instilling confidence and fostering a sense of empowerment in the students, encouraging them to dream big and pursue their passions relentlessly.

Through this volunteer opportunity, I endeavored to make a meaningful impact, not only by equipping students with technical knowledge but also by nurturing a mindset of continuous learning and resilience. It is my hope that the seeds planted during these sessions will flourish into future achievements, inspiring these young individuals to carve their own paths and make meaningful contributions to the world of technology and beyond.
