Intern

I was initially hired at Aspire Staffing Group as an Intern. My boss initially thought that I could be helpful in the recruiting process by assisting recruiters with their search for candidates. However, my responsibilities shifted towards data analysis and salesforce administration as the internship went on.

During this internship I was responsible with a variety of tasks that supported the recruiters and sales teams at a medium-sized staffing group. I maintained and modified the salesforce CRM as an administrator, tuning it to be better suited for use by the sales and recruiting teams. I generated reports and dashboards in the Salesforce CRM that I then presented in meetings with each team to inform strategy decisions based on historical client data. I queried the database for the recruiter team to find candidates that had the desired skills and experience for job orders that needed to be filled. I created interactive maps in excel that used sales team data to visualize each person’s territory, along with imbedded graphs that showed the sales data for each client.

I met with the COO weekly to discuss how the Salesforce CRM could be further optimized for use at Aspire, and made the desired changes. I also created dashboards in Salesforce that showed performance records for each sales and recruiting employee, which were referenced in weekly meetings to ensure that everybody was reaching their desired performance goals for the week (jobs filled, sales made etc.)
