IBIT Mentorship Program

The IBIT Mentorship Program has given me the opportunity to learn valuable insight that I could not attain in a traditional classroom setting. Throughout this program, I had completed two virtual meetings with my mentor. I prepared the schedule and materials discussed for both meetings, so I made sure to touch on as many topics as I could. I was able to discuss my career goals with my mentor, we worked together on how I can achieve these goals and stay on track for my future. The program gave me a better outlook on my future. I had so many questions about the professional lifestyle and whether I was on the right track with my academic career and I was able to find those answers within this program. I now have a new perspective on the professional world that I have yet to experience. I feel better prepared for my future, both my educational and professional careers. I learned a lot of new insight about the day-to-day work life, how to improve my current skills, and how to stay one step ahead for a smoother transition into the business world.
