Coursework
1st Semester:
- Microeconomic Principles, Legal Environment of Business, Quantitative Methods for Statistics 2, Leadership and Organizational Management, Digital World
- these classes greatly increased my understanding of introductory business. I learned a great deal about what it means to be an effective leader, as well as efficiently use my available resources. I also learned several legal terms essential for operating my own business, as well as an introduction to technology in the current world.
2nd Semester:
- Macroeconomic Principles (honors), Digital Systems (honors), Intellectual Heritage 1 (honors), Financial Accounting, Statistical Business Analytics, Entrepreneurial Thinking
- these classes gave me a lot more in depth insight than my first semester. I learned a larger degree of economic terms, how to think creatively and in an innovative manner, basics of financial accounting, and a fair understanding of statistical analysis in the business world. I took my first MIS class this semester, and that is what initially encouraged me to go ahead and do a double major because I saw it as a perfect fit for my ambition to gain a better understanding of implementation of technology in the workplace.
