The core philosophy of the workshop was accessibility; uMap operates on a simple “what you see is what you get” principle, eliminating the need for complex coding languages like JavaScript or Python. By the end of the session, attendees walked away with a shareable, interactive map and the confidence to visualize geographic data independently.
