Using OpenStreetMap for Urban Spatial Analysis
This webinar was an introductory workshop on OpenStreetMap (OSM), covering its data model and tagging system, how to explore and contribute to the map, and hands-on techniques for querying OSM data using Overpass Turbo. I had the opportunity to learn about alternative visualization methods with Overpass-ultra, integrating OSM data into GIS through QuickOSM, and the basics of contributing by creating accounts and using the iD editor.
