Delco Food Drive
As a volunteer at my local church’s Delco Food Drive, I made a meaningful contribution to a neighborhood project that aims to reduce food insecurity. The main objective of the endeavor was to gather, arrange, and provide food to needy people and families in Delaware County. I helped move dry goods, sort produce, and pack bread starting at 7 a.m. in order to get ready for distribution, which started just before noon. I put in a lot of effort, along with other volunteers, to make sure the food drive went off without a hitch. We were able to observe directly how our efforts affected the recipients by giving them the necessary food assistance, so we could see the concrete results of our labors.
