IBIT mentoring program
In the Spring Semester of my Freshman year, I had the opportunity to participate in IBIT Mentorship Program. The program pairs students with Business Professional throughout the Philadelphia Area. The mentor I was pair with through this program was CEO of Archweb Technologies Chris Cera. The goal of this program was to learn and gain insight into the industry.
When meeting with Chris we talked about start ups and about my specific interest in technology. With my interests being cyber security and data analytics Chris engaged in a lot of conversation about those topics. Chris as well as helped me get interviews for internships. The overall experience of this program was excellent. I gave me more a great insight to start ups and better interviewing skills. While also learning different techniques to talk to people and how explore my interests more in depth.
