AI & ML Intern
It was sponsored by the Washington Semester Program through Marcus Finley, who is the CEO of FinDigital. My role was as an AI & ML Intern. I learned how to effectively utilize AI to amplify business operations. I assisted in the development of AI-powered features for applications, including natural language processing (NLP) capabilities, enhancing user interaction, and enabling more intuitive user experiences. I evaluated designs, wireframes, and other deliverables during the conversational design and user experience phase for potential development issues and flagged feasibility challenges when needed. I developed and implemented machine learning algorithms to match high school track and field athletes with relevant scholarship opportunities based on their performance times and academic achievements.
