IBIT Mentoring Program
The IBIT Mentorship Program pairs students with experienced senior executives to learn about their careers and receive professional development advice. Through the IBIT Mentorship Program, I received the opportunity to talk with Andrea Anania about her various roles within the industry including her time working for UNISYS Corporation to becoming the Executive Vice President and Chief Information officer of CIGNA Corporation. She provided me with advice regarding my professional development and skill sets necessary to succeed in the future. Additionally, we discussed changes within the technology and business industry she experienced throughout her career. The mentorship program taught me the importance of acquiring a diverse skill set, whether that be communication or technological skills.
