Phindie
I’ve loved theater for years, and the FringeArts Festival every fall quickly became one of my favorite events. I’d organize all my friends into a complicated theater schedule for those two weeks and sometimes see upwards of 15 plays. At one post performance get together, I was talking to a guy who was surprised I wasn’t in the industry with how frequently I attended. He asked me to describe the play I had just seen, and then he asked me if I thought it was successful. I answered both in my most professional theater voice, and after he revealed he owned the largest review site in the Philadelphia area and asked if I’d like to write for him.
Now, two years later, I’m still loving reviewing plays all over the area, and thrilled to have turned my passion into a profession.
