MIS Internship at Red Orange
Red Orange is a globally networked supply chain company that specializes in reseller accounts and primarily deals with federal contracting. For example, many of the company’s clients include branches of the military and U.S. embassies.
At Red Orange, I worked as an Information Systems Analyst and a founding member of the MIS team. I played an integral role in the implementation of the new CPQ system, for which I trained approximately twenty employees in India and Dubai. I also redesigned the company website using WordPress and created company social media pages on LinkedIn and Twitter.
Throughout the internship, I have had the opportunity to utilize and enhance skills initially learned in MIS 2101 and MIS 3501, such as researching and implementing a CPQ system and using HTML, CSS, and PHP to improve the company’s website.
