2nd place – UMSL International Business Case Competition
Temple University team won 2nd place for the national International Business Case Competition at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (#UMSL) this past Saturday (04/07). We were given a live case from Nidec Motor Corporation about the company’s Industrial Internet of Things strategy with its new FORECYTE sensor. We worked on the case for 20 hours and presented our strategy to the company’s executives. It was one of the most intense days for me this year. We worked on the case for 15.5 hours from 12:00 pm to 3:30 am the following day before coming up with a 2-stage plan on licensing FORECYTE and monetizing data from FORECYTE.
