Delaware Investments
I was employed by Delaware Investments: A Member of the Macquarie Group for 7 months in 2014 as an Investment Accountant. I was hired in February 2014 as a part-time employee working roughly 20 hours a week, and was later promoted to full-time in June 2014 working 40 hours a week. On a daily basis I worked alongside the companies investment accounting team as well as other students from Drexel completing their co-op program. We were in constant communication with the companies investors sending them cash overdraft analysis for over 25 different accounts daily, providing asset reconciliation for such accounts, and aiding in new account set up/closing processes. I used various technologies on a daily basis such as a web image queue provided by BNY Mellon to record our companies bank loans into our database, an in house database system called Delaware Investments Managers Desktop to access information about the status of how much money was in each of our accounts, Sharepoint when we were doing month end audit reports and we all need to access/print/sign off on the month end statements, and lastly Oracle whenever I needed to look up a person within the companies email address or set up a new account for somebody.
