BBH Solutions
This past summer I worked as a Business Analyst for BBH Solutions, a leader of communications solutions, based in New York, New York. Working under the Director of Client Services of this small business, together we planned and executed several internal projects aiming to increase workflow efficiency and improve CRM efforts. While working as a business analyst, I also learned the fundamentals of project management, which I found useful as the roles are so closely intertwined. A lot of my work as a business analyst included interviewing stakeholders, eliciting requirements, and documenting workflow. The main project I was on had the objective of integrating two of our sales platforms – QuoteWerks and AutoTask. From the requirements elicited from key stakeholders and subject matter experts, I documented the current state workflow and designed future state views in detailed process-flow diagrams . The project greatly benefited everyone in the organization; mainly our account managers and sales engineers who received a more efficient integrated CRM platform, and increased transparency in asset tracking. Overall, my experience at BBH was a great one, and I can definitely see myself working as a business analyst post graduation.
