Media Tech Associate, Class of 2024
- NBCUniversal is a mass media and entertainment company parented by Comcast. Their headquarters are in 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City. I will be employed in the technical operations department.
- Associates in this program can be divided onto specific tracks. I will be working under the business solutions/technical operations track where I will spend 3 rotations of 8 months in length learning the operations of different teams and presenting projects to better the department.
- This job applies to my major because I will get to explore more project management tools and explore many systems used to hold metadata for entertainment content. I already got to explore this from MIS 3535 and many associates talk about becoming certified PMs at the end of their program. Learning how to interact with data effectively and efficiently will aid me in the next 2 years where I will be handling larger-scale projects that will reflect on the company.
